A 50-storey skyscraper in Shenyang, China was gutted by fire on Tuesday. Photos show a vertical line of fire stretching along the length of the building. Witnesses said the blaze started in the elevator shaft on the ground floor and in minutes reached the top of the building. Fragments from the architecture fell, damaging cars parked nearby.
